FEES & PAYMENT
At Wye Sanctuary, consultation fees depend on where you attend. Initial and follow-up consultations cost £200 at Church Street Clinic and £210 at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital. Each appointment lasts 30 minutes and provides dedicated time with Dr Charlotte Small to understand your symptoms, answer your questions and develop or review your personalised treatment plan. Any additional treatment costs will be explained before you decide whether to proceed.

Initial consultations include a comprehensive assessment of your pain, review of previous investigations, discussion of diagnosis and treatment options, and a personalised management plan. Follow-up appointments provide an opportunity to review your progress, discuss treatment responses, review investigations or medications, and adapt your management plan as needed.
Procedure costs depend on the treatment recommended, the setting, whether imaging guidance is required and any associated facility fees. After your assessment, we will provide an individual quotation explaining the costs before you decide whether to proceed. Consultation fees do not include injections or other procedures. Your first appointment is dedicated to understanding your pain. Persistent pain is often complex, and we believe it’s important to take the time to listen to your story, review previous treatments and investigations, and develop an individualised management plan. Procedures are not performed during the initial consultation. If an injection or procedure is recommended, we’ll discuss the benefits, risks and alternatives with you and arrange treatment at a later date if you choose to proceed. This gives you time to consider your options and ensures that any procedure forms part of a carefully considered treatment plan rather than a rushed decision.
Dr Small accepts patients insured with Bupa, Aviva, Allianz, Vitality, AXA Health and WPA. Appointments using private medical insurance currently take place at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital. Church Street Clinic currently welcomes self-funding patients. The consultation prices shown above are self-funded fees. If you are using insurance, please contact your insurer before booking to confirm cover for Dr Small and the hospital, obtain any required pre-authorisation and check whether an excess or shortfall is payable. Please provide your insurance and authorisation details when booking.

For appointments at Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital, payment follows the hospital’s billing arrangements. For Church Street Clinic appointments, we will explain how and when to pay during booking.
